Speaker Profile
Mr Mohd Suffian Mohd Abass started his career as an Enforcement Officer since 2005. He was a Senior Enforcement Officer in the Enforcement Division, Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (MDTCA). In 2019, he took up a challenging role when he was appointed as a Chief State Enforcement Officer at State office of MDTCA.
In 2020, with the extensive experience in the field of legal metrology and consumer protection, he has been directed to serve at MDTCA Headquarters to assume the duties of Head of the Legal Metrology and Consumer Protection Unit until present.
He is now widely known as an expertise in Pattern Approval for weight and measuring instruments, focusing on law and regulation to individual, civil servants, repairer, owner of the weight and measure instruments, group of industries and association in Malaysia.
